Runemarks – Witchlight

As so many of my young readers have expressed curiosity about Runemarks and its predecessor Witchlight I have managed to find some of the original artwork. Here it is with the first page of my handwritten text.

Let it stand here as encouragement to anyone who has been rejected by publishers (my first rejection stated quite kindly that handwritten manuscripts weren’t acceptable and that drawings needed to be of professional quality).

Thirty years later I have given up the idea of illustrating my own work ….
